Students from the University of Namibia, representing the fictitious Socrates Law Firm of the University of Namibia Legal Aid Clinic had the privilege of visiting David Bezuidenhout High School today, 28 August 2023 in Khomasdal, Windhoek. The visit was a significant opportunity to engage with the next generation on the critical issue of bullying and making schools a safe environment for all. The presentation was aimed to inform, inspire, and ignite conversations about creating safe and inclusive environments for learners. It was a fun and engaging session of sharing insights, real stories, and resources. Socrates hopes to empower young minds to stand up against bullying and cultivate a culture of kindness and empathy. ‘It’s moments like these that remind us of the positive impact education and advocacy can have on shaping a brighter future for all’, said one of the members of Socrates.
